Q: Can anyone experience formal hypnosis?

A: Formal hypnosis can be experienced by the vast majority (around 85-95%) of people.  It is widely regarded that the only people not suited to hypnosis are those who are clinically depressed or have psychotic tendencies.  The way in which you experience it and the level of trance that you experience, may vary each time and is in the direct control of your own sub-conscious mind.


Q: Will I be in control?

A: Yes, you can awaken from hypnosis any time you want to! You cannot be hypnotised against your will, and you cannot be made to do or say anything that you do not want to.  The vast majority of people find hypnosis to be such a pleasant experience that they would prefer to extend it rather than shorten it.


Q: Will I be aware of everything that is said to me?

A: Yes, your unconscious mind is likely to be even more aware during hypnosis because it can become so highly focused, so although your conscious mind may drift, your sub-conscious hears everything that is said.


Q: Will I remember everything that happens during hypnosis?

A: Yes, everything that we experience is stored as memory in our brain.  All of those memories can be accessed.


Q: What if I fall asleep?

A: That's OK,  remember.... some people will liken hypnosis to being asleep.  Usually, they are not asleep, but very comfortably, deeply relaxed.  In fact if you want to listen to the recording immediately before going to sleep, that's fine too, you may want to set up a playlist on your player to exclude the 'wake up' section in these circumstances.  If you are listening to the cds as part of going to sleep, we would strongly recommend the use of the stereo speaker pillow.


Q: Can I use hypnotherapy if I find it difficult to relax?

A: Yes,  although hypnosis can be one of the most relaxing experiences you can have, being able to relax in NOT a pre-requisite.  'Your Choice' hypnotherapy cds make extensive use of stereo split-channeling, to make the process of hypnosis more effective.


Q: Will I be able to re-awaken afterwards?

A: Yes.  It is extremely rare that people do not wake up at the end of a session or a recording when they are ready to do so.  If you want to make sure that you awaken after listening to a recording, simply set an alarm clock to wake you up.  If you need to awaken during hypnosis, you can become instantly alert.




Q: Can I fall asleep when listening to a 'Your Choice' cd?

A: Yes, if you want to. The 'Your Choice to sleep' is actually designed to allow a state of hypnosis to gently give way to a natural state of sleep and we highly recommend the use of a stereo speaker pillow when listening to it.  The other recordings have a robust  'wake up' track at the end, though this can be omitted if you want to listen to it before going to sleep.


Q: How often should I listen to the cd?

A: To get maximum benefit the recommendation is to listen to the recording once a day for 21 days.  Some users have reported that they enjoyed the recording so much that they listen to it more than once a day.  The recordings have short playlist capability for when you are pressed for time.  If you still don't have time to listen to it each day, don't worry, just use it as often as you can.


Q: Are there any subliminal messages in the cds?

A: No, subliminal messages are ones that are hidden 'behind' or 'underneath' other sounds so that they can only be heard on a subconscious level.  This technique is contrary to the trance4m belief that change should be a matter of choice.  'Your Choice' cds are recorded so that each word can be heard on both a conscious and sub-conscious level.


Q: What does it mean when the cd is 'customised'?

A:  Additional segments of script that contain the user's name will be 'woven' into the standard recording.  If you've ever been in a busy room full of different conversations, you'll know that if someone says your name you are likely to be able to 'tune into' it, despite the background sound.  Including the user's name in the recording uses the same principle, enhancing the listening experience on both a conscious and sub-conscious level.  The cd itself will also have the name laser etched onto the front of the disc.


Q: What does it mean when the cd is 'personalised'?

A: In addition to the customisation process (mentioned above), a telephone call will take place with the hypnotherapist to define something unique to you that you would like to be included in the recording.  This may be, for instance, a positive event that you have experienced, or, for example if you wanted to use the 'Your Choice to lose weight' recording and wanted to particularly focus on losing a craving such as chocolate.





What are the delivery timescales and costs?

£2.95 for all other items or where more than 1 item is ordered.

The cost of P&P will be added at checkout.

Standard cds	Please allow 5 working days for delivery
Customised cds	Please allow 10 working days for delivery
Personalised cds	A timescale for delivery will be agreed when you speak to the Hypnotherapist
Other Products	Please allow 5 working days for delivery.  If you have ordered any other goods at the same time as the cds - we will send all goods out at the same time.

If paying by cheque, we will only dispatch goods once the cheque has cleared.

Postage and packing outside the UK is at a standard rate of £8.00, and will be added at checkout.

Can I return goods?:

We want you to be happy with the goods you purchase from trance4m, and we test samples of all the items ourselves before offering them to you to ensure quality.  However, we know that sometimes you may want to change your mind and so we are happy to accept returns.  Please return by recorded delivery within 14 days, unused, in their original packing and with all seals intact.

In the case of faulty items, please e-mail us with details of the fault as soon as it is identified and return to us.  We will attempt to replace the item, however we cannot guarantee to be able to replace the item exactly depending on stock availability.  If a replacement is not available a substitute will be offered.  If this is not acceptable a full refund will be given.

The guarantee for each item is as the manufacturers guarantee.
